This morning we revisited our agreements and a group of friends wrote them out to post in our room!
-We can be kind to everyone.
-We can treat people the way we want to be treated. “That’s the golden rule!”
-We can keep our bodies safe.
-We can listen to each other.
-We can take care of our materials.
J.B.’s family donated huge tubes for us to use.
We invited a group to bring them outside to put them in the Rock Pit.
Friends worked together on this heavy job.
Laying them on the ground, I.B. asked, “Which one is the tallest?”
“How can we figure that out?
B.B. said, “This one is.”
“How do you know?”
B.B., “I just do!” He was correct!
Friends put the tubes next to each other on the ground to compare the lengths.
I.B. suggested we needed to get a tape measure. To which G.T. Replied, “That’s how you measure people!” And C.B. informed us all about the one she has at home.
E.M. also noticed there was tape on the ends, which friends quickly removed.
CB., “We need to carry them to the Rock Pit!
“We can color them,”
“The rocks can go through them!”
Using trucks and hands, pebbles were transported from the pit to the tubes.
G.T. even did some experimentation with larger rocks and needed to measure for ever smaller ones to fit.
We’re looking forward to using them again this afternoon. Thanks B. Family!
