This morning T.R gifted us the book, The Color Monster! It was very appropriate with all the feelings I was having about coming back!
Did you know that you can feel more than one feeling at once?
"Yellow is for happiness because it's bright like the sun!"
"I think the pink is love because I see hearts."
We talked about all the feelings we were having and friends began identifying feelings that weren't even in the book!
"Surprised isn't in the book, sometimes I feel surprised!"
"Frustrated isn't in the book either!"
"Maybe we can make our own feelings jars?"
"Yeah, that's a great idea."
We headed out to the playscape to beat the heat!
Many friends picked flowers.
"This flower is for your little baby."
An ice cream shop was opened under the pergola.
"We sell ice cream and vegetables."
Ya know, life is all about balance!
"These are our microphones."
"Make a wish."
"Why are my hands so wrinkly?" L.B
"Wait, I have lines on my hands too, I never noticed that!" C.B
"I already knew I had lines." J.B
"Do babies have lines on their hands?" C.B
I have been asked to take a look at Ainsley's hands and report back.
"I found treasure."
"I'll bury it here so that no one can find it."
