An Artful Way

 Caper Day brought friends from Willow, Acorn and Seedling into our room to invitations of showing emotions through drawing and loose parts.

"How does your heart feel today?"

Changing a previously happy face, 

 G.T. -“I can make it mad. It’s got no eyebrows and sharp teeth and a down nose. It’s mad!”

“I made scary!”

Not Just a Stick

Maple friends have been continued to recognize feelings in themselves and others.

 At Morning Meeting we recalled our conversation from yesterday. 

"We need to put our pictures in the jars to show how were feeling!"

"Maybe we could put them inside the jar."

"But then we won't be able to see them!"

"Maybe we need to put them on sticks."

"Let's go on a collection walk!"

L.B suggested, "The Forest has so many sticks!"

So, we checked the top of the Forest and she was right! We found so many sticks!
