What should we add to our neighborhood today?
"Maybe flowers?"
"Maybe flowers?"
"How about a sun?!"
"The sun is a circle."
"Well some circles are flat, but the sun is more round."
"Like that light."
How would we possibly find a sphere like that?!
Turns out we had an extra lamp in the closet!
"Let's paint it!"
"It needs to be yellow."
"Not just yellow, orange too!"
"Let's look it up!"
We did some investigation online and found that we needed to use yellow, orange, and red.
"The sun is very bright so we need some electricity for that!"
"Be careful, the sun is VERY hot!"
At our meeting we read, The Tiny Seed by Eric Carle and talked about all of the signs of Spring that we have been enjoying!
We talked about how big the tiny seed grew to be then we took a look at some Zinnia seeds. We used our yard stick to find how tall our flowers might grow if we take good care of them.
"Whoa, that's a tall flower!"
There were so many connections being made!
"They'll be so tall that we won't even have to worry about stepping on them like the kid in the book!"
"These will be so beautiful!"
