Teachers are truly blessed to share in the lives of their students! It’s like being a school mom, aunt, grandma, etc. We love watching you grow from toddlers to independent learners and cry happy tears as we send you off to Kindergarten. Thank you to all of you for my wonderful gift. It’s so special that you made it and shared such nice thoughts. I wish you were all here so I could hug you but I know my birthday wish will come true and we’ll be back together soon💜
We loved seeing the friends that were able to make it on Zoom with us yesterday! We understand if you are unable to make the times and do not want anyone to feel obligated! This is for fun, not to add more stress! For the friends that joined us, (even though we may have looked a little silly) we hope that you have a small glimpse into the joy of our days.

We want you to know that despite us learning from home, we are still together. This can be a really nice time to practice being the teacher at home! Looking at the pictures on our daily blog can help you think about your work at school and how you might do some of our favorite things right in your own home! If your siblings or grown-ups are busy, you could grab one or more of your lovies and teach them how to build a home, have a dance party, draw a picture or any other thing you'd like to teach. Mosty, have fun, be kind and remember that we will be back together very soon.
A little creativity and sticks became screw drivers and hammers.
G.B. mashed up some rice. What could you pretend mash or really mash to help with your family’s meal?
So...plans changed a little but Maple perseveres! The morning was still filled with warm welcomes and excitement for the upcoming week of pumpkin activities. Asked about what we should do with our pumpkins from Mr. Steve and Ms.Ginger, our friends decided to paint them, cover them with melted crayons, carve them and cook the seeds. Each child recounted their choice as Ms. Alyssa made a tally graph. We noticed that the choices were tied at two with four votes and two with five. To our surprise, even a pattern showed up...4/5/4/5!
We had also planned on taking a short walk to the mailbox to get our Thank You notes out to families for all the fabulous classroom gifts! Ms. Alyssa and Ms. Gayle accomplished the task for our friends.
