It turns out that the hinge will not work with the dimensions of our birdhouse. The group decided that this birdhouse doesn't need to open. Mr. Johnny and Mr. Dennis offered to cut pieces of wood for us to put together another birdhouse with a hinge.
The children are very proud of their birdhouse! Now we need to figure out how to hang it and where!
