A nest for the birds

The children collected materials to build a nest for the birds on the playscape. 

A found glove became something warm the birds can nestle in. Dead weeds, sand, and pebbles provide a soft space to rest. The branch is a slide for the birds. Owen even made a TV out of sticks for the birds! 

The children are looking forward to checking in on their nest tomorrow.
