Celebrating Riley
Riley will turn 5 when we are on break! She asked the children to make her a candle out of paper. They asked her what she wanted on her candle. She wanted birds and sparkles. The children got to work!
We overheard Riley say to herself that it would be cool to print a candle on the 3D printer. She doesn't know that we heard her, so we will surprise her!!
The children found a special container to keep the candle safe.
She couldn't believe that she actually got her own 3D birthday candle!
Riley was so surprised when she was presented with her gifts!
We hope you had a great 5th birthday over break, Riley!
Christmas tree for the birds
The children found a branch that reminded them of a Christmas tree.
They decided on a place to plant the branch and got to work. They discovered that it takes time to dig a deep hole. They tested the depth of the hole by placing the branch in to see if it was sturdy enough.
The children collected beautiful rocks and leaves to place under the tree.
The children made a sign that says, "Christmas tree for the birds."
Placing birdseed ornaments on the tree!
The children decided the tree needs garland! They strung chocolate Cheerios on fishing line to string on the tree.

I'm On Top Of The World
A small group of children worked together on and completed a world puzzle. They are proud of their achievement.
Charlotte said "we did it"
Riley said "Yeah, can we look up the languages the speak and say hello in them?

Moving in the Motor Room
The children made different types of moving things. A few also made a train track and rode their trains on it.
