This morning we read the book, My Favorite Color by Aaron Becker. It turns out, it’s realllly hard to choose just one favorite color, especially when they’re all so pretty!
We set out on a neighborhood walk exploring the question, “What colors live in our world?”.
There are beautiful colors all around us when we stop and notice!
“I see yellow on that sign.” WA
“I see yellow and red.” WK
“That car is red.” AA
“I see blue in the sky.” DH
“The chickens have red on them too!” OP
“We have those at my house they are starting to turn pink.” ZM
“That water is turning to mud and making brown.” LB
“The trees are green all around.” NW
“I see my favorite color white in the clouds!” HW
“White isn’t a color!” NW
“Yeah, because when you color with white it doesn’t show up on the paper!” EP
Hmmm…
Looks like we have a new wondering to explore!
