Runway, model walk or catwalk...You choose:)

 This morning we got to work on our real runway.
"I call it a model walk."
"I call it a catwalk."

"Maybe we can call it all those names, whichever one we want!"

"Now we need screws and your drill!" 

"It's like 5 inches and we need it to be longer!"

"Maybe let's pretend for now and put the other wood on the floor."

Meanwhile, friends practiced their struts and poses on another block-made runway.

Of course we had to bring those moves to the real runway...

We pretended today but naturally we need to "make it better like the first pieces".

So how much longer do we need it it be?

"We need to measure the pretend part."

"We need a measuring tape!"

We Made It!

 The rain gave way and we were able to go to the Top of the Forest. Tree climbing was only one of the ways to have fun. One group turned a tree stump into a kitchen where mashed potatoes and green beans were on the menu. Near by a little ‘birdie’ flew. And lots of sticks became weights and mud diggers.
