A Morning on the Hillside

"How Far Did It Roll?"

This morning friends experimented rolling different materials down ramps in our classroom! We used tape to make our own tracks on the carpet and did our best to keep the materials between the lines. 

"Look, it went all the way across the room!"

" 

"It rolled out of the lines."

"We need to make the ramp a little higher."

"Wow, that went far!"

"How far did it roll?"

"Let's try a tree cookie."

"It didn't go as far."

We also played outside in the mud kitchen!

Summer Birthday Celebration

This morning friends painted buttons!

We also celebrated summer birthdays! Friends were excited to finally paint their canvases.

It's Finished!

Today, Maple and Acorn Rooms worked together to finish planting the sunflower seeds in the garden.

We found more worms to add to the aquarium!

And enjoyed chasing bubbles on the hillside!
