A rubber band creation

The children discovered that what they made makes noise by plucking it. Augie said, "It's like a chello!" He told the class his brother plays the chello. 

A special visit

Augie invited his brother in to share his chello.

The children then showed Charlie the piece they made that also makes music. 

Bird watching

The students from SLU brought binoculars for the children to look for birds. 

The children were inspired to make their own binoculars, and are beginning to design a bird watching/looking window.
