A Halloween Walk

 Friends have been loving all of the decor on our walks lately! So we thought, what better day to go looking for pumpkins, ghosts, spiders and skeletons!

We even stopped at J.B’s house!

“I have lots of good Halloween decorations!”

We hear that many of you have pumpkins and other fun decorations but if we walked to all your houses we just wouldn’t make it back in time for lunch;)

Exploring Catapults

This morning in Maple friends enjoyed creating and exploring catapults! Friends are amazed at how high they are able to launch materials. 

“Whoa!”

“How do we measure that?”

“I don’t know it moves to fast.”

I wonder what problem solving will happen next week!

After Capers, we had a special birthday celebration. When talking to friends about Ms. Gayle’s birthday while she was gone, they decided we needed to have a scavenger hunt to find a cake with sprinkles and a book that we made her. 

Dear Maple Family, 

I felt all the love today as friends showered me with hugs and loving words!

A scavenger hunt lead us to a delicious cake that we shared on this sunny morning.

And, of course, I’d like to thank all the families for my gifts.

I’m one lucky teacher!

EGGstravaganza!

Hip, hip, hooray! Hip, hip hooray! We’re so proud of R.L today! Friends were excited to finally celebrate our friend with an egg party! 

S.Z exclaimed, “I’ve been here, I know just where the eggs are!” 

We followed right behind, but somehow we ended up in the cookie isle….hmmm. 

Doesn’t this always seem to happen at the store haha!

“Okay, I really do know where the eggs are.”

Sure enough he led us right to them! We got enough eggs for all the friends and found butter, milk and cheese all in the same isle. We made a quick pit stop when we were distracted by the cakes and ice cream then headed right to the checkout. Again, friends knew just where to go! 

B.B. said, “I’ve never cooked eggs before!” 

Everyone pitched in and enjoyed gobbling down the yummy eggs. What a fun morning!
