Fort Friday & Final Celebrations

Fort making began as soon as the first friend entered the room! We worked together to plan and create. 

"This can be a coloring fort."

"Let's put dobbers under this one!"

"We need on for magnatiles; maybe right here would be good!"

The Maple Room was filled with forts in no time!

"Hold it W, don't let go!" 

"I won't silly goose!" -W

Our postal worker, M, check the mailbox. He and E shrieked with excitement for all of the mystery mail!

"There's SO much mail!"

"And they all have bows!"

"I see names!"

"They all have our names on them!"

"Who could they be from?"

"Maybe it was my mommy." 

"I think it was you guys!"

"Let's see!"

"The friends!"

"We love The Gingerbread Man!"

"We all got the same book!"

 We finished off our morning with a special story time from Ms. Marty!

Warm Waffles

 Well, as if we have not had enough sugar this week, waffles were the fare of this morning!

Dripping with syrup, we were our sticky, sweet selves:)

With full tummies, we snuggled down for a fun movie!

Messy Faces & Happy Hearts

 The snow put a special touch on the joy of s'mores! 

Some friends quickly caught fire to their marshmallows, while others (especially E) slowly toasted theirs letting all sides gradually turn brown.

"That was good, I think I'll have another."

There were yums and messy faces all around!

Of course we couldn't go without playing in the snow while outside!
