Dear Family...

This morning friends took a few minutes to remember all of the things we noticed on walk yesterday! 

"Remember that mailbox we saw?"

"Can we write the letters to our families?"

While playing outside we started our letter writing. We talked about how letters start.

"Dear Family..."

"Dear Mommy and Daddy..."

We also explored envelopes! We talked about how to address them so that they get to the right place. 

We have some predictions of how long the mail will take to get to our houses too...

"Well it takes like four minutes to get to my house from school so that's probably how long it will take!"

While watching the story, the days the Crayons quit before rest, A exclaimed, "Look, they did the same thing as us! They wrote a letter!" 

After lunch we waved goodbye as our final butterfly flew off "to be with his other friends".
