Researching Planters

Our window sill is overflowing with seedlings, plants, and grass! We have decided to build planters or containers for our growing plants. 

The children recalled studying purple room's herbs a few weeks ago. They shared that the herbs were in planters. 

We went back to purple room to study the design of the planters. 

Then we visited Yellow room and studied two planters that they built themselves! Their planters looked different than purple room's. 

The children shared with the whole group their observations. The group noticed all the planters were made of wood. They decided that we would need wood, nails, and tools to build ours. We started working on our own pink room planter design.
