Look at the Lima Beans!

Something is happening to our Lima beans! Check it out on our windows!

Adding to our Greenhouse

Sunflower seeds were added to the greenhouse today! 

Planting Garlic

"Fluffing the soil."

Collecting leaves for a blanket for our garlic through the winter. 

Green House

Some friends were noticing how cold it's getting by the windows in our room. We wondered if it was too cold for our plants and decided to make them a green house.

We used a cardboard box and decided to paint it green and white.

We went to the Red Room atelier to use some tools. 

Now we have to use plastic wrap to cover the green house.

All finished.

Growing Spaghetti Squash

Recently some of our friends decided to plant spaghetti squash seeds inside part of the spaghetti squash. We were curious to see if it would grow! After the weekend this is what we noticed!

"It looks a little different now and if we don't water it, it's going to die." -Jonathan

"It growed." -Taylor 

"It's spaghetti squash." -Landon

Octopus

One of the SLU students in the Purple Room brought in something special for us to check out!

Herbs and Spices

Our SLU student Ms.Clarissa came in today and worked with a small group on researching the difference between herbs and spices. She even brought some in for us to explore!
