Will it hatch? What will it be?

The children predicted what will hatch from the egg. 

Some predictions- bird, duckling, dolphin, squid, cheetah 

Something started to happen! 

After two days, the egg hatched! It was a dinosaur! 

The children checked their predictions and added drawings of the dinosaur.

This experiment has inspired and encouraged more care for living things. The children were disappointed that this egg was not real. After some conversations and support from parents and other teachers in the district, the pink room will have an incubator with eggs to care for after spring break!!
