Brisk but Busy

This morning at our meeting we read O's book, "I'm Not Just A Scribble". Friends were wowed at the way the colors came together at the end to create a beautiful scenery.

"Maybe we could make our own picture like that?!" -E
"Yeah!"
"Maybe we need the sun to hang from the ceiling!" -A
The excitement grew as ideas began to flow!
"What about rain?"
"But maybe it could be a world that never rains, that would be amazing!" -E
"Well, that wouldn't really be good because we need rain so plants can grow!" -A
Friends shouted out, clouds, moon, sky, stars, grass, a rainbow, snow, food, and even a refrigerator.
"Yeah we definitely need food!"
"We need a grocery store!" -W
"And money to buy stuff!" -N
"I was thinking about maybe we need a clock?" -J
"I was thinking trees!" -O
We went on to add dinosaurs, astroids, dogs, cats and a whole zoo!
Maple Street will definitely be getting some additions...stay tuned!

Larson Park, here we come. We are making light of this walk and loved running from tree to tree upon our arrival! Unfortunately the playground was in use but we still enjoyed romping in the fields and enjoying signs of Spring.

"This flower is so cute!"

“Shhh, let’s see if we can catch these birds!”

Rocks and Rolls

What fun it was to spend the entire day with friends!

The day went as usual and then...

we discovered the river outside our door!

“Get the boats and oars.”

“Get in my boat!”

W-My boat is rocking!

M-I will get in with you!

The river seemed to have lost its appeal and friends turned to rolling down our hill
and taking turns rolling wheelbarrows.

Now this was some heavy work!

We hope you had as much fun as we did😃

Back Together Again

"N and W here is the mail I made for you, open it! I made mail for all the friends because I missed everyone!"
"Thanks, J! I missed you too!"
We were so happy to back together this morning!!
It was a beautiful day in the Forest!
Many friends were taking risks and climbing higher than ever before!
"I'm not afraid of heights anymore!" -G

Friends found new ways to get in and out of the cave.
"I found another hole to climb through!"
"Grab my leg, I'll help you!"

M and W made a see saw!
