Happy Break!

This morning friends enjoyed a special story read by Ms. Marty by fireside!

 The rest of our morning was spent together working in our classroom!

Fun by the Fire

We had s'more fun today! 

Friends enjoyed roasting marshmallows over the bonfire this morning! There were many marshmallows on fire and lots of gooey faces!

Dancin' Our Way To Break

Today was a special day for us! We are enjoying some special treats leading up to winter break. Today we had a dance party and watched a short video about a magical snowman! It was very interesting listening to friends narrate the movie since it had no words.

"What can we do with these bottles?"

Today during capers we did more shadow building with blocks but this time friends had something a little different to add to their work. They used bottles filled with colored water to enhance the language of light and shadow!

"What can we do with these bottles?"


"I can see the color red on the wall."
How did it get there?
"When the light goes through, it puts the color on the wall."
"I can't see the blue."
Why doesn't the blue go on the wall?
"Maybe because it's too dark."

Sticks and Yarn

An invitation to create with sticks and yarn was available for friends this morning!

"I need to cut this string."

"I'm making a beautiful walking stick."

"I got them to stay together!"

"I have to stand it up so I can have a really good grip."

We also had a special performance from the Bristol Bravos! We enjoyed hearing their beautiful singing today!
